Fragrance Hunter is our attempt at the opposite: a calm, cited, unbiased guide to which accessible fragrance really smells like the designer one, and how close it gets.

What makes us different

Every scent profile we publish traces to a brand or retailer source. When we can’t verify a fragrance honestly, we don’t make something up to fill the gap, we leave it blank and keep looking. We describe scents in coarse, honest accord families rather than invented note-by-note “pyramids.” And because we earn the same whether you buy one alternative or another, our rankings answer to your nose, not to a sponsor.
